    Boys Long Pole Rules

If you are thinking about buying a long pole and cutting it down, please follow the instructions below for valid lengths of sticks.

The defense stick (long crosse) must be between 52 and 72 inches in length (from the top of the head to the end cap of the shaft).  The attack/midfield stick (short crosse) must be between 40 and 42 inches in length.  Refer to RULE 1 SECTION 2 of the
US Lacrosse Rules for Boys' Youth Lacrosse.

This means that any stick (with the exception of the goalkeeper's crosse) that is between 42 and 52 inches in length is not permitted.
