Herndon / Reston Lacrosse rents equipment to players who do not have their own. When registering for the Spring season, if you would like to rent equipment, please indicate that upon registration. Equipment will be handed out at the Kickoff Meeting in February. Each player is responsible for providing their own lacrosse stick, mouthguard, cup, and cleats.

Boys Long Pole Rules
If you are thinking about buying a long pole and cutting it down, please follow the instructions below for valid lengths of sticks.
The defense stick (long crosse) must be between 52 and 72 inches in length (from the top of the head to the end cap of the shaft). The attack/midfield stick (short crosse) must be between 40 and 42 inches in length. Refer to RULE 1 SECTION 2 of the US Lacrosse Rules for Boys' Youth Lacrosse.
This means that any stick (with the exception of the goalkeeper's crosse) that is between 42 and 52 inches in length is not permitted.
